August 24, 2017 was day 5 of the “In Emma’s Footsteps” movie that I was 1st Assistant Camera on. It was Brenna, the camera PA’s birthday! I was quite excited to celebrate someones birthday that was in my department. that had never really happened before so I wanted to make it a big deal and organize a few things.

I decorated my cart with birthday festivities, organized a treat with craft services days in advance. I did receive one blank stare for trying to organize a mini celebration. But in the end it didn’t take up any valuable time and it was a great uplift to some of the cast and crew in ear shot. I gave Brenna some sidewalk chalk, a multi color fidget spinner with little fins and some black licorice and coconut candy which is my fav. We went over almost every day which was pretty tiring which is why I try to keep things fun any time I can even if I am looked at as the weirdo man child.
